6 Benefits of Getting LinkedIn Premium/Sales Navigator Advanced

Many people wonder what the difference is between LinkedIn Premium/Sales Navigator (which are both Premium services but are also slightly different).

Well LinkedIn are making more and more of their features available only to Premium/Sales Navigator Advanced (SNA) customers, here’s Six good examples:

  1. Your Banner.
    It’s the most striking feature on your profile, the first impression that people have and has a massive impact.

If you have Premium/SNA then you can now have 5 banners which you can see on my profile. I use each one for one point each and I regularly change them to keep them fresh and interesting.

  1. Your Premium Custom Button
    This is of enormous importance and benefit as it’s at the top of your profile and it appears on ALL your posts at the top and it appears in a search of you.

I have my SmartLink of our services on here so that anyone who clicks on it in all three ways can be tracked and I can follow up with them.

  1. Your Media in your Services Section
    You can add your Services section to your profile but you can only add Media if you have premium.

I have multiple LinkedIn SmartLinks on here for various services of mine which people can then easily find and click on to find out more about what we do.

  1. Who Viewed My Profile
    You can only view who viewed your profile using a Premium/Sales Navigator Subscription.

This is excellent for following up with real people who are actually active on LinkedIn to see if they wish to become clients or employ you.

  1. SmartLinks and Saved Searches
    No point in having all of the above if you’re not using LinkedIn Smartlink for your services or your CV to track who is interested and then follow up with them.

SNA acts as your very own CRM which shows you all activity that someone has done from viewing Smartlinks to answering messages.

You can then build saved searches based on your ideal customer profile and message people with SmartLinks and then track who opened and for how long and follow up with them to get meetings.

  1. Unlimited Peronalised Connection Requests
    A little known benefit is that if you don’t have Premium or SNA then you can’t send out personalised connection requests and you also have a capped limit of how many connections that you can actually send out.

Summary
In summary if you have Sales Navigator Advanced you can do more on LinkedIn to market both yourself and your firm to find new clients.
